About JP Brome

JP Brome is a singer, songwriter and author who was born in Carthage, Mississippi and later moved to New York. Music has been her life since she was a child and she is a talented musician, but her main channel is writing and performing. As a child, JP loved listening to the stories told to her by her Native American great-grandma. She embraced that passion, writing poems, songs, plays, and screenplays at an early age. That passion has blossomed into the art that she produces today, ranging from music to writing books.

Her creativity was truly nurtured at Jackson State University, where she took drama and creative dance courses, while continuing to write songs, poetry, and plays. After working for several Fortune 500 companies in New York City, she has decided to return to her true passion for the arts.

Now, JP has written her first full length book, The Misadventures of Zyria, The World's Smallest Superhero. She hopes that it will motivate others to dream as big as she has and to believe that anything is possible, no matter who you are.
